It doesn’t get more “meta” than this.

In one of the most unusual exhibits in recent memory, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art turns the spotlight on itself in a summer show dubbed “Permanent Collection/Impermanent Museum,” which spotlights the physical traces left behind over more than a quarter-century of displaying art. It’s an exhibit about the art of exhibition.
