Enter Infinite and be surrounded by hundreds of illuminated spheres that form a symphony of notes. Colorful light and rich sound drift and flow in clusters throughout the space, composing an immersive ambient atmosphere that seems almost limitless. While wandering through the artwork, the sound of stringed instruments ripples out in waves and then disappears, creating a dynamic three-dimensional experience. The notes are programmed to be randomized and become longer as the composition develops, highlighting the unique quality of the instrumental tones. Infinite fosters an environment for each experience to be uniquely personal and intuitive yet also shared. Here, all are welcome to connect, explore, and bask in the wonder and emotion this immersive installation may spark.

The sound for Infinite was commissioned by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and performed and recorded by Lunar Calendar in collaboration with Squidsoup. Organized by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and curated by Julie Ganas, curator of engagement and digital initiatives.
