Learn More About the Exhibitions:

Dorothy Fratt: Color Mirage is the first major U.S. museum exhibition on the prolific, yet underrecognized, American painter Dorothy Fratt (1923–2017). Spanning more than five decades of the artist’s oeuvre, the exhibition will present a selection of foundational early works and ephemera alongside numerous paintings that exemplify Fratt’s vibrant and distinct style of abstraction.

Carolina Aranibar-Fernández: Oleaje is a new, large-scale installation by San Francisco-based, Bolivian-born artist Carolina Aranibar-Fernández. Through labor-intensive, handmade processes such as etching, sewing, cutting, and printing, Aranibar-Fernández translates the complex movements of resources and the hidden ripples of the mining and trade industry on a global scale into vibrant, finely rendered impressions of cartography and topography.
